AREAS OF EXPERTISE IN COLLEGE
At Princeton University, I studied Molecular Biology. My main focus was on bioethics and biotechnologies. After graduating, I worked for two years at a health technology startup where I utilized statistics and programming to analyze data.
Currently, I teach English at a university in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Both at my previous job and now, I have enjoyed mentoring and guiding people in their careers and life.
UNIQUE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
During high school, I had the opportunity to work at a computation biology lab at Stanford University. I had the most amazing mentor who showed me what life as a graduate student looked like and introduced me to some important resources I still use now.
I also played violin in the California Youth Symphony. Playing classical music sparked my love of music, and also travelling. We went on tour every two years to different countries like Japan and New Zealand and collaborated with the youth orchestras in those countries. Music really transcended language boundaries.
