​I am dedicated to promoting harmony between humans and their built and natural environments through culturally sensitive technology, policy analysis, and education. As an Environmental Systems Engineering major, I studied engineering fundamentals and environmentally sustainable design principles with a focus on energy systems and urban infrastructure. I also completed coursework and research in the social sciences including in education and international relations. I worked as a Schneider Sustainable Energy Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council’s Climate and Clean Energy team in New York City. I also held fellowships at the Tomkat Center for Sustainable Energy at Stanford and at Green Empowerment in Nicaragua where I worked with underserved communities to expand access to renewable energy solutions. I am currently a master’s student at Stanford University where I am studying Civil and Environmental Engineering. In my free time, I love walking, traveling, animals of all kinds, music, writing, and trying new fruits and vegetables.
