PERSONAL UNIVERSITY APPLICATION EXPERIENCE
Schools Accepted Into:
Princeton University, Northeastern University
AREAS OF EXPERTISE IN COLLEGE
At Princeton University, my area of expertise is Molecular Biology. I have worked in the Levine lab, the top genetics lab in the Lewis-Sigler Institute on Princeton’s campus. I am largely interested in developmental biology as well as studying genetics and disease.
In the future, I plan on getting my Master’s degree and eventually a PhD to further my education in the field. I hope to use my research to eventually start my own company that in some way targets issues of global public health.
UNIQUE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
Throughout high school I trained at a pre-professional level in ballet which required a substantial time commitment in and of itself while balancing all Honors and AP level classes as well as multiple Honor Societies. I competed in Youth America Grand Prix for ballet and made it to the New York City Finals multiple times which provided exposure to dancers from around the world.
WHAT COLLEGES SEEK
Universities look for students who not only have a high level of academic achievement across the board but also have a unique talent that makes them stand out from the large pool of academically qualified applicants.
