WHAT COLLEGES SEEK

Colleges look for students who:

  • Challenge themselves academically

  • Engage with their communities outside of the classroom

  • Earn leadership positions and/or display strong social and emotional intelligence with their peers

  • Would be contributing to their college campus community in a positive way

  • Meet challenges and difficulties with a learning and growth mindset

ADMISSIONS CONSULTING PHILOSOPHY

I take a student-centered approach to admissions consulting and aspire to use the college application process as a platform to guide students through self-development to actualize their fullest potential. I see the college application process as an opportunity for meaningful self-inquiry at a pivotal time in young adults’ lives that will have a lasting impact.

BEST ADVICE FOR STUDENTS

  • Be yourself!

  • Identify your interests and engage deeply with them

  • Embrace mistakes and missteps as part of your learning journey

WHAT I LIKE MOST ABOUT COLLEGE PLANNING AND CONSULTING

I love helping students to identify their interests and passions, and finding college options that will help them bring their best qualities forward. Students can so frequently be scared or daunted by this process, and I love engaging with them with a sense of excitement for all that lies ahead.
