AREAS OF EXPERTISE IN GRADUATE SCHOOL

At Harvard, I study education policy: how teachers, schools, school districts, and governments work together to improve upon education needs across the world. I also work with MIT’s leadership and management program on how to foster school leadership. I am interested in exploring how to empower teachers and cultivate school leadership in the Boston area and schools across the globe, how to create a sense of global citizenship, and how to increase pathways for all students to access higher education.

​My school life was very balanced between sports and extracurricular activities. Perhaps the most formative moments were spent writing for the newspaper and volunteering in the local community. My time volunteering really paved the way for me to become a teacher and develop my passion in education.
