AREAS OF EXPERTISE IN COLLEGE
I studied English, Creative Writing, and Linguistics in at Dartmouth College, as well as Biology and French in my spare time. I completed an online MBA in the 4th cohort of Smartly University, and recently received my Master’s in Education from Vanderbilt University.
I worked for four years as a high school English teacher, and currently teach 2nd and 3rd grade at an urban private school. My Master’s is in school leadership and I plan to continue my career in school administration.
UNIQUE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
In the middle of high school, I switched schools from the local public high school to the accelerated magnet school downtown. I had to quickly adapt to a much faster and more rigorous academic pace and adjust to a much more urban setting. I loved it!

COLLEGE ACCESS CONSULTING EXPERIENCE
While teaching high school English, I also taught a Senior Seminar class in which students researched schools, created a college list, completed their applications, and crafted their college essays. I continue to consult with students from that school as they approach the application process.
I love teaching and writing!
I own a blueberry, chicken, and goat farm as well.
