WHAT COLLEGES SEEK
Colleges are looking for students that are proactively contributing to society and have their own unique view of the world. Along with these traits, the most successful students are those who are unafraid to seek new answers and are motivated to work hard to achieve goals.

UNIQUE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
One experience that really impacted me was a charity trip to Brazil that I joined with my high school dance team. To prepare for the trip, us students organized our own dance show fundraiser and gathered school supplies for underprivileged children in Brazil, then went to Sao Paolo with our dance teacher to deliver the supplies, perform, and learn local Brazilian dances. The process challenged my view of the world as it was my first time seeing a reality that was completely different from my own.
