AREAS OF EXPERTISE IN COLLEGE
I am a history and philosophy major with an interest in how cultural developments and political theory interact with each other.
Outside of class, I spend most of my time teaching, and aim to someday be a high school history teacher.
In my free time, I love basketball, cooking, and jazz, so if you ever want to play a pick-up game, make desert, or want an album recommendation, I am happy to help.
UNIQUE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
I was very involved with quiz bowl and history bowl in high school. I captained my team to third place nationally at history bowl and twelfth place at quiz bowl, captained a Texas All Star team to third place nationally, created curriculums and taught classes for Texas Quiz Bowl Camp, and coached my school’s middle school team. The fact that I was able to turn the same interest into a leadership position, a community service position, and a paying job was very interesting to colleges.
